These pages are devoted to my beloved ferrets who help to fill my lonely days. This page tells about them as a business (group) and is written by me, whereas the other pages tell of each pet individually and is written by the ferret concerned. Enjoy!
These are my original four boys, Bear, Badger, Samson and Elmo, at 7 weeks of age on the day they arrived in their new home! At this point they were all still pretty much unco-ordinated and getting about by crawling and dragging their hind legs along. They all seemed to adapt to their new home very quickly!
This is the "Awesome Foursome" at 8 weeks during feeding time. At this point they were still being fed twice daily on pet mince as well as having their dry food always available to them for whever they wanted it. The little guys are all sable in colour and all have pretty much identical markings which makes it near to impossible at this early stage to tell them apart.
This is where my babies live! This is their shed and play pen with a running tube connecting the two so they can come and go as they please. They sleep and eat in the shed where they are sheltered and play in their pen when they wish. The play pen also has a home-made "mountain" in which they also sleep. The pen spans one third of the entire rear yard.
